The MAN202 is a system for music archiving, playback and CD ripping.
The MAN202 comes in two versions, one includes a D/A Converter and AES/EBU plus S/PDIF inputs and output. The simpler version has Firewire and USB outputs only for connecting directly to an external D/A Converter.
A complete MAN202 system consists of:
- The MAN202 Base Station as pictured below
- An external NAS (Network Attached Storage) device, typically a harddisk or an array of harddisks. This allows for virtually unlimited storage space for music files.
- An iPad device with the Weiss app for remote control of the Base Station. (Note, the app is not yet available from the Apple App Store).
- A means of accessing the Internet by the Base Station for fetching CD cover art and track data.
Refer to the MAN202 brochure for more information.
