Amarra represents the next generation of computer based music players and is designed using the same technology in use today by record companies worldwide for producing CDs and DVDs.

Amarra integrates with iTunes

Consumers increasingly want the convenience of a digital music server combined with great sound. Amarra lets you use iTunes for your asset acquisition, storage and playlist management. It offers:

• The convenience of iTunes
• Remote control using your Apple Remote
• Uses iTunes for compressed and rights managed music
• Amarra user interface for control of playback   

• Automatic switching of the sampling rate depending on the sampling rate of the song played (a feature iTunes is lacking)

Amarra is available to purchase for existing and future customers of Weiss Firewire enabled devices such as: Minerva, Vesta, DAC2, AFI1, ADC2-FW.

The Amarra-Mini version US$ 395.

The Amarra-Mini version does not have any level control or equalizing facilities and only works for sampling rates up to 96kHz.
