The room of WOD, our German distributor, with Soulution electronics, Kubala Sosna cabling and Hanson speakers. The Mac Mini / DAC202 played through that setup resulting in an incredible sonic quality

Yes, we got an award too. The Minerva DAC is discontinued but still available... in the form of the DAC2.

And some very nice words by Mr. Herbie Hancock

Our minimalistic setup with Mac Mini, DAC202 D/A Converter and active speakers of the "Klangwerk" brand. The gear sits on the subwoofer:

The complete view of the setup with two active speakers and the active subwoofer. It can't get any simpler. For the Klangwerk speakers see here. Incredibly sounding setup.

The whole room in the ancient castle. The castle was built in the 13th century. Note the wall thickness.

January 2010:
CES, Las Vegas: Weiss introduces three new products aimed at the playback of high resolution files from a computer or network player:
The ATT202 Passive Attenuator
The ATT202 is a fully passive, stepped, resistive attenuator for balanced or unbalanced stereo signals. It can be used in place of a preamplifier to control the volume of a single source like e.g. a D/A converter.
It can be remote controlled which makes it very attractive for convenient operation.
Read more about this extraordinary attenuator here.
The INT202 Firewire Interface
The INT202 is a small interface box for Firewire to AES/EBU and S/PDIF conversion. In addition the audio volume can be controlled in the digital domain via an infrared remote control unit. The INT202 finds its application in interfacing a PC or MAC computer to a D/A Converter unit. With the volume control feature it can also replace a preamplifier.
Read more about the INT202 here.
The DAC202 Firewire D/A Converter
The DAC202 is a State Of The Art Firewire D/A converter with IR Remote Control, headphone output, LCD display and many more features.
Read more about the DAC202 here.
